LED Bathroom MirrorsFor A Stylish and Distinctive Bathroom

Features to look for!

Here we review some of the features that we recommend that you look for when buying your LED bathroom mirror. Some of these are essential while others are just nice to have.

In many cases, your choice will be influenced by the budget that you have allocated for your LED mirror. So, please spend some time reading about the various possibilities before you make up your mind.

So what are the features to look for when buying your LED bathroom mirror? Here’s a non-exhaustive list:

  • Safety. Is the mirror safety-rated (e.g. IP44 rating in the UK), meaning that it’s splash proof (waterproof)?
  • LED sensor on/off switch. This can be either the usual touch version or the fancier remote one (usually infra-red based).
  • LED Dimming. This can be smooth or just have a number of discrete levels (e.g. low, medium, bright).
  • Memory function. Does the LED mirror store the last selected brightness level?
  • Night light function. Does the LED mirror adjust to ambient light e.g. dim automatically in day light?
  • Automatic switch off. Do the lights on the LED mirror automatically turn off after a period of time (e.g. after 24 hours)?
  • Layout. Can the LED bathroom mirror be placed in both portrait and landscape positions?
  • Mist-free.  Will the LED mirror remain steam-free e.g. does it use Demista-branded glass?
  • Power sockets. Are there any integrated (safety-rated) power sockets for electric shavers?
